Great News!

With the name of Allah, the Gracious, the most Merciful

The Muslim Cemetery of the Greater Fayetteville Area is very pleased to announce two new additions. We should all make Du'a for our brother, Gaskin Williams, Jr. Also remembered to many as Brother Wali Muhammad, for his tremendous monetary contribution to the Muslim Cemetery of the Greater Fayetteville Area. Because of this family, we now have a facility at the cemetery, where we can wash and shroud Muslims, as well as a musulla area (prayer area) that is fenced in so that janazah (funeral) prayers can be held on site.

We ask Allah to bless our brother and his family for this waqf that will benefit so many, now and in years to come, Insha'Allaah. This huge contribution will make it possible for us to be closer to the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and to get away from newly invented matters related to the last rites of our sisters and brothers. Not only will this help to keep the burials free, it will help eliminate other cost associated with the last rites, and remove the financial burden from many sisters and brothers.

I invite you to view the convenient 12 by 12 brick wash facility and the high fence which sections off an area for janaza prayers.

(Please pardon the things laying about around the facility as we are still making a few modifications. However the project is about 99% complete.)
